Dispute mediation service

As a member association we are here to serve members and as such where a member company is having difficulty with a customer on technical grounds we will as part of your membership with NO FEE seek to investigate and mediate to ensure successful resolution of the matter.

The Australian Glass and Window Association offers this mediation service to members to assist in resolving disputes involving AGWA customers or AGWA members so that both parties may come to a mutually fair agreement.

This service is conducted prior to other means of resolution, such as an Independent Inspection or the services of other organisations such as state and territory Building Commissions, Consumer Affairs, Fair Trading and Dispute Tribunals.

On receipt of a completed Dispute Resolution form, AGWA contacts the AGWA member to investigate the problem and recommend the best way forward for both parties.

Approval to proceed with this mediation service is at the discretion of the AGWA Executive Director, AGWA Board of Directors or the AGWA Technical Managers.
