We are AGWA

We are the Australian Glass & Window Association

As the peak industry body for the Australian glass and fenestration industry we endorse compliant, sustainable and fit-for-purpose products and provide services to members that support their efforts to operate successfully.

Using an AGWA member when purchasing window, door and glazing products significantly reduces the risk of purchasing the incorrect product for your application. AGWA provides window, door and glazing specific industry training to members lifting the level of competency within our industry and members have access to the latest changes in regulation and industry standards to ensure their products are compliant. Business is conducted with honesty and integrity, upholding the right to a fair return for goods and services supplied.

AGWA Members are subject to NATA audits to ensure that:

  • All glass, window and door products have been manufactured in compliance with all relevant Australian Standards.
  • Glazier members of the Association are able to demonstrate via indepentent audit that they are able to meet AS 1288.
  • The windows design performance is verified using a NATA accredited testing laboratory.
  • The windows and glass are accurately labelled with the labelling requirements of AS 2047, AS 1288 and AS 2208.
