Design Awards

The AGWA Design Awards are open for members to enter projects that showcase glass and windows as well as innovative product designs. The Awards are conducted at a state and  national level with a broad range of categories.

The Design Awards aim to:

  • Increase the level of interest in windows, glass, glazing, doors, skylights, fenestration products and security screens.
  • Raise the awareness and profile of all association members and differentiate them from others.
  • Execute a consistent professional showcase for window systems, glass and glazing, skylights and security screens by celebrating and recognising excellence within our industry.

 

The categories for the Design Awards are :

  •  Residential Window/Glass Project under 30K, $30 - $80K, over $80K
  •  Commercial Window/Glass Project under $100K, $100K to $750K, over $750 K
  •  Bespoke Window / Glass Project under $10K, over $10K
  •  Showroom of the Year Small, Large
  •  Most innovative Component
  •  Most Innovative Window System
  •  Most Innovative Product / Service
  •  Most Innovative Shower screen / Balustrade
  •  Peoples Choice Award (from Residential and Commercial entries)

 


Industry Awards

The AGWA Industry Awards celebrate the excellence of individuals within our industry with this series of state and national awards. The Award categories include:

  • Safety Award - National and state award category.
  • Service Award - State award category.
  • Industry Person of the Year - National award category.



Apprentice Awards

Apprentices are the future of our industry and we are proud to celebrate excellence in our newest members. Categories of Apprentice Awards include:

  • Rising Star - This state awars is presented to a 1st or 2nd year apprentice that consistently demonstrates quality workmanship
  • Commercial Fabricator/Installer - This state award is presented to a 3rd or 4th Year apprentice that is able to demonstrate the highest level of capability and quality workmanship in the area of commercial fabrication and/or installation
  • Residential Fabricator/Installer - This state award is presented to a 3rd or 4th Year apprentice that is able to demonstrate the highest level of capability and quality workmanship in the area of residential fabrication and/or installation
  • Glass Processor - This state award is presented to a 3rd or 4th Year apprentice that is able to demonstrate the highest level of capability and quality workmanship in the area of glass processing

These categories flow through to the overall State and National Apprentice of the Year Awards.
