Why Accreditation and Compliance matter to your business

AGWA continually works to make the industry more compliant by running the AGWA Accredited Company Program for members to ensure member companies and staff can demonstrate compliance to the standards. To ensure the highest standards the Window and Glass accreditation program is included in the membership fee for operations in Australia and demonstrates that AGWA members are compliant to the relevant regulations and standards.

Glass and windows are an integral and important part of the building and construction industry. Accreditation within the industry is key to providing sustainable and high levels of expertise while ensuring products and services are compliant with Standards and Codes.

By participating in the program member companies elevate themselves against the competition, build brand strength and credibility with their customers, and promote a fair and level playing field for industry. In addition, consumers will have confidence and peace of mind dealing with an AGWA accredited company.

As an AGWA member (windows or glazing) participation in the program is compulsory, as we seek to ensure the members "inside the tent" are compliant and representative of the standards expect from our members (Code of Conduct). While the idea of an "Audit" can seem overwhelming for some on first consideration, the realty is quite different as our team of professional auditors, with many decades of experience, work with members to review the processes and standards to ensure members can demonstrate that they manufacture and install complaint products and service. Where an issue is found our audit team and the broader AGWA team will work with members to resolve it.
